GIRL / ANTIHERO DEMO!!!!!!!!!!
The Dept will be re-opening this Tuesday May 20th in the evening to host a demo by the entire Girl and Antihero skateboard teams. The brand new street course will ready for them to break in and/or destroy. The demo will start @ 6:00pm. Don’t miss this.
Cal’s Pharmacy will be open and operating as usual. People interested in signing up for Summer Skate Camps can do so by phone by calling 503.233.1237, emailing The Dept. at info@departmentofskateboarding.com or stopping in to Cal’s Pharmacy.

I really want a 2 stair handrail that would be sick. i need to do a handrail, and if they made a small handrail on like a 2 or 3 i would totally do it.

you guys should definatly put in a lot of ledges that flow with eachother, grinds and slides are the funnest part of DOS. Keep up he awsome work that you guys do!

Yay for the remodel, I’m sure it will be nice. Boo for the CLOSED! I just moved here and was looking forward to trying out that bowl. It’s been 3 days since I skated and I already feel all awkward. Are there any other indoor pools here? Any suggestions on other good pools on Portland?

Dude, i am so phyced on the remodel! but you should get rid of the ski jump, add some like 1′ high ledges, some 5 and 6 stairs and a handrail down a 3. some gaps and step-ups to, and leave the seven. Peace out girl scout.

Just to clear things up for people, yes they have their plan (most likely blueprint) for it already (they decided on what plan they were gonna pick a week or two ago), but they’re just not gonna show us it. I’m thinking that they want it to be a surprise.
Also everyone talking about wanting to skate the bowl, you guys should learn to read, “The Dept will be closing Monday April 7th FOR A REMODEL OF THE STREET COURSE.” Take note at the part where it says STREET COURSE. Now is the bowl or the mini part of the street course? I think not.

dude you guys should tottaly change the seven stair hand to a 13 that would be sick and then put a rail in the middle but only make the rail like 2 feet tall so i can try it and you guys should alss put a x games half pipe in the middle of the park that would be sick and get tony hank to come and skate it.
