This guy is coming through.
And he’s bringing this dude.
This guy is coming through.

Might be time for something new. (Hey Tyler, that new fried egg intro looks dope too…)
Hayes took a trip down memory lane and pieced together this little video of footage taken from a few of The Dept’s infamous Lock-Ins. If you watch closely, there’s some familiar faces on there. Some REALLY COOL familiar faces. It only takes a couple years for kids to go from fun-loving teens to miserable, jaded cool guys.
What do you want to bet he put this on youtube himself? Are you allowed to have this much attitude when you’re this young?
Stopped by and hit up the bowl on a recent Portland trip.
This went down a long time ago, but who knows how many people actually saw it. Dave England and some buddies made this for a website and it got passed around the interweb for a minute. Beach was the perfect dude to try and ride something like this. The first time they did it, they blew all the balloons up with their mouths. 10 hours and they ended up with a quarter of the balloons shown. Round 2 they got an air compressor.
Demo footage from NW Tour. DEPT footage is after Innerspace footage. Those guys really rip. Jamie Thomas can definitely pick the workhorses. Manson was in the house.Chris Cole’s backside 360 kickflip down the 7 is insane. He did it first try too. That guy is a complete beast. His nickname is Ivan Drago. Google it and you’ll get it.
If you want a step-by-step trick tip for a textbook kickflip crook keep watching til the end.
