Does everyone know about $lave yet? We’re assuming that you’re all as big of skate nerds as we are so you probably know the deal. $lave is a new board company done through Blackbox Dist. (Zero/Mystery/Fallen) that has some serious destroyers riding for it and some great graphics as well. Ben Horton is the brains behind the graphics and look and so far it’s looking good. Jon Allie and Matt Mumford are the pros at this point and both of those dudes really kill it. Mumford came up and was a guest pro during one of the weeks of skatecamp this past summer and was such a cool guy. He flew up to Portland on one days notice, brought a bunch of $lave stuff to give out, burned the bowl down, annihilated the street course, brought Chet with him and flew home the next day and had a smile on his face the whole time. The Dept. is definitely backing Mumford now and because of that we have a little contest for you to win a new $lave deck. The first 4 people to tell us all the companies that Mumford has had a pro model for will win a deck.
