Mike D. with a backside flipper off a gravel runway. That’s actually a pretty good idea for a skate stopper. Use gravel instead of concrete. You can’t stop the true skaters.

Lance has ups.

There is just no 2 ways about it. Normine can get up. After he ollied this, he turned around and ollied back the other direction.

8 Days and Counting…

8 more days and this back crail tail will be going down in San Diego. “Hasta La Vista, Craigery…”

Bump the bar up.

It seems like once a spot gets popular or a few tricks go down, the floodgates open and it’s anything goes. What the heck, if a backside flip can go down, then why not switch. Erik Billups doesn’t ask why he just does. Switch backside flip over a street gap.

Tripod technology.

garric_wallride-copy.jpg
If guys don’t want to shoot photos with Garric, than he’ll just shoot himself. He’s got a tripod, no need to wait for everyone else to wake up and get going. Actually, Normine gets the photo cred. GRay with a backside wall booster.

PQ with a Smithers

While they were down south, Garric and Normine went and spent a little time in Nick’s world. Nick’s definitely got a strange world. First try smith grind. No denying Nick shreds.

Road Trip Day 2

Day 2 of Garric and Lance’s roadtrip produces another good shot. Something about this photo looks familiar. It doesn’t take a codebreaker to see a pattern forming. We might have to draw the line at 3 straight front boards. It’s definitely a sick shot though. Actually knowing Lance, this might be a back lip.

Road Trip Day 1

Garric and Lance went down to stay in Corona for Spring Break and skate in the sunshine. Here’s a photo of Alien that Garric got the first day out.

This photo may be from last spring, but word on the street is Humphries has been on solo missions at Baconhaven, I mean Glenhaven.

Roll Bounce!!

Compton’s been working on the skateboard as much as he has on the rollerskates. Sometimes out at the Hillsboro park he’s got this many girls around him too.

Garric at Glenhaven

Andy Adams with a backside crailslide over the stairs. Ridiculous.

You may or may not have noticed, but the weather has been looking PRETTY NICE the last few weeks. Spring sprung early. Anyway, Garric took advantage of some of those nice days and hit up Glenhaven to snap some photos. He came back with some real bangers.

johnny_front_feeble_glenhaven-copy.jpg
Johnny going front feeble over the stairs as well.

seth_backside_nose_grab_air_-copy.jpg
Seth McCallum jarring his body.

Seth was in town for a Nike event to kick off the release of the new Zoom Tre AD. He did all kinds of work behind the scenes developing that shoe and puts it to the test on all terrain. Street, pools, parks, flatground game of s-k-a-t-e… Seth is down for it all.

Ask the Doctor.

Years and years ago there was a column in Thrasher called Ask the Doctor and was written by a legend of skate history Rick Blackhart. People would write in and ask questions about trick technique or skateboard maintenance. We’re pretty sure he wasn’t a real Dr. and neither is this M.D. We’re also pretty sure that heelflips like this were never discussed in his column. Mike D. needs no tips on technique.

Devin’s photo had to go. Look for it soon in a much higher profile, much more prestigious skateboard photo outlet.

3 Men and a Baby Boy

Did you ever see that creepy little kid behind the drapes in that scene from the 1980s movie Three Men and a Baby? Allegedly, it’s some little kid who had died in the apartment that they were filming in. He might be showing up again in the top corner of Stukey’s wall jam flick here.

Cold Hard Crete.

benji-front-carve_-in-the-cradle-copy.jpg

Garric went out with Benji Galloway again and snapped a couple photos. Benji’s definitely got skills. From the looks of these shots it appears to be a beautiful day of sunshine and skateboarding. Except these were taken yesterday. The high temp yesterday was 40 degrees. Think about slapping your palm and hip against the concrete jumping off from 11:00. So gnarly.

You know it was freezing on this back tail.

Or in Jesse’s case, Tofurkey.

hansonbacksideflip-copy2.jpg
Turkeys actually are flightless birds so you’d probably have to toss one to clear this gap Manson is bs flipping.

lancebacksmith-copy2.jpg
And Lance is a turkey most of the time.

Don’t know if it’s a good idea to open up Pandora’s box by posting park photos but this switch tre is pretty ill. Craig has one of the best you’ll see around. Does Beebs get photo incentive for this? Next time you see Craig around, ask him why he doesn’t live in California yet.

Pat Smith recently moved to Portland and Garric’s got the chance to shoot a few things with him. If you see Pat around skating, whatever it is, make sure to take notes. Here’s a nice looking wall ride.

Keeping with the theme.

Another kickflip with adidas on the feet, here’s Davies flinging one. Talk about a dude possessing the flick/catch. Three guesses on who’s got bgps. Red jeans will give you away every time.
